Well, we all met in Kirkwall--though none of us were from there originally, I think. I'm Dalish, so I was with my clan up until Hawke came. Hawke's sort of the glue that kept us together. She's really something special... she even became the Champion of Kirkwall for a while. She and her family and Aveline came because they were fleeing the Blight. Aveline lost her husband, and Hawke and Bethany lost their brother. It was all really sad, but I didn't meet any of them until a year after all that. Aveline ended up becoming captain of the guard... I'm sure she misses that, even now. Bethany's a mage, like me, and she ended up becoming a Grey Warden. Anders was also a Grey Warden, but he's much less... Warden-y now. Mostly still possessed. Fenris is an elf, like me, but he doesn't like me very much. He fled Tevinter from his old master--he was a slave there. Isabela was a pirate, but she was shipwrecked after stealing an important relic from the Qunari. Oh, and Varric! Varric's a great storyteller. His crossbow is named Bianca, but I still don't know why. Also, Hawke has a dog. It smells really bad, but it's quite sweet.
